ABOUT ME
I was born in a unheard little town called Sinop located in Mato Grosso. I obtained my bachelor, master and PhD degree in the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Sao Paulo. I have worked on several topics in particle physics including model building, effects of violation of fundamental symmetries, neutrino physics, Grand Unification Physics, models involving ultra-ligth particles such as axions, and collider physics. I am currently a senior professor at Federal University of ABC in Sao Paulo, where I spend most of days doing research with my collaborators, lecturing about physics, and its implications to daily life. I am particle physics enthuasiast who investigates properties of fundamental particles using the largest detector ever built known as the Large Hadron Collider that smashes particles together to help understand the laws of the Universe.
